We are FSU! #FSUnited

We recognized the strength of unity in the Florida State University community after the library incident. Last Thursday, FSU students, faculty, alumni, and staff gathered around the Integration Statue on the FSU main campus and united with candles held. The event concluded with the FSU Marching Chiefs playing the "Hymn to the Garnet and Gold." FSU students, faculty, alumni, and staff sang together for the victims.

Positive thoughts and best wishes were reached out to everyone there. And it was certainly extended to all those affected by the incident. We kept extending the sentiments to everyone through diverse FSU communication tools. We felt again we always have a family that supports us here, at Florida State.  We are returning to our routines with the strong strength of FSU unity.

The Counseling Center at the Askew Student Life Building provides counseling and further supports for FSU students, faculty, and staff affected by the events.Should anyone need such services, please contact the center (850-644-2003).
