We had a productive conversation at the ISLT Students Meeting, last Friday. All students had a chance to learn about academic life on campus and out of campus from each other. We realized that there are many opportunities to learn and to get assistance including financial supports. Here are some photos on that day :)
Next ISSA event is ISSA Professional Development Series - Big Data. It will be on April 3rd, at 12-1 pm. In the Morgan Studio, Professor. Ken Armstrong (Program in Interdisciplinary Computing, FSU) will come and talk about issues surrounding the accumulation, transformation, and analysis of large datasets typically encountered in both business and research environments.
