This Friday's seminar speaker is Jonathan Adams, and his talk is titled: "Four rules that instructional designers need to know about screen layout."
This presentation will provide an overview of four rules to keep your screen orderly and easy to understand. The focus will be on screen layout and techniques for balancing text and imagery for instructional content.
Jonathan Adams is an associate professor and the former director of the interactive and new communication technologies graduate program in the college of communication at Florida State University. He holds a master's degree in instructional systems University of Massachusetts and doctorate in education with a specialization in educational technology from Boston University. He has designed, developed and programmed more than 80 training/education software products as well as developed Web sites, interactive games and paper-based training materials. He has received more than a dozen industry awards for technical achievement and software design in education and has published more than 20 scholarly articles.
