ISSA Events and Activities - Summer 2015

Dear ISLT family,

How's your summer going? Although many of us are traveling these weeks, we, Instructional Systems Student Association (ISSA), would like to get together for a couple of ISSA sponsored events – join us if you are in Tallahassee for the summer!

June 11th, 6 pm, ISLT Dinner @ Andrew's Downtown. 

Join the ISLT family for a fun and yummy evening; significant others are welcome!

July 9th, 6 pm, Movie / Documentary Evening @ Morgan Studio. 

This is the first of a series of screenings that we'd like to organize for the following terms. We'll watch "Waiting for Superman" (2010), a documentary that investigates the public school system in the United States. A discussion will follow the screening.

These weeks we are also starting to schedule the events for next Fall: Professional development talks, student meetings, socials, movie / documentary nights, and other events. We are open to suggestions! Please, let us know if there's any event or talk that you would like us to organize.

Also, if you are a new (or not so new) ISLT student and you'd like to talk about any aspect of the program, let us know. We are usually at Stone every weekday, we'll be happy to have a chat over a coffee.
